A Tiny Bundle of Joy
Drew is doing very well. When he was born he was put on a ventilator while he was given some medicine to help his little lungs develop.
His nurses said he was breathing over the ventilator the whole time, and after about six hours he didn't need it any more. Drew has to do four things before he comes home. He has to be able to breathe without assistance, maintain his own body temperature outside of his incubator, be able to eat from a bottle consistently, and weigh over four pounds. The nurses and doctors are all very impressed at how fast he is progressing. The only thing he has left to do is gain weight.
We are very proud of the progress our little boy is making. He is VERY strong, and we know the Lord Jesus has his hand on Drew.
